A pair of hardwood incense stands, Xiangji, late 19th/20th century, (2) the dark wood resembling zitan, each with a flush square floating panel top within the mitred frame and double moulded edge, above a recessed waist pierced with panels of angular scrollwork, the square section corner supports extending down to further recessed scrollwork panels above the short legs with splayed feet, (2), each 84 cm high, 34 cm wide, 34 cm deep
