A small Guan-type vase, Fanghu, seal mark of Qianlong of rectangular section, the pear-shaped body with canted corners rising from a straight foot to the slightly waisted neck flanked by a pair of tubular handles, covered overall with a greyish green glaze suffused with a matrix of dark and light crackle, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character mark, 14.2 cm high
