A 'Longquan' celadon vase, Yuhuchunping, late Ming dynasty the pear-shaped body springing from a straight foot encircled with a key-fret border, the sides carved with a continuous lotus scroll below a frieze of clouds and stiff leaves on the slender waisted neck below the flared mouth, covered overall with a sea-green glaze apart from a ring on the base burnt orange in the firing, 27 cm high
