A finely carved 'Longquan' celadon vase, the bottle-shaped body, rising to a slender neck with a pronounced flared mouth, incised with a loose key fret design beneath the glaze to the mouth rim, the body well-carved with a lotus scroll design depicting open blooms amongst foliage, the neck with a band of flowers nestled between incised vertical lappets, covered overall with an even pale green glaze, 24.5 cm high.
