A small Chinese Ding white glazed Stemcup, song Dynasty, 12/13th century, the deeply rounded, lovely white six-lobed cup, covered overall in a cream glaze and supported on an everted stem, 6.5 cm high. Catalogue note: the Ding kilns were famous for their thin-bodied ivory-coloured wares and substantial quantities were produced for the Northern song Imperial court during the period.
