A Chinese lapis lazuli mountain scene, depicting tiny figures standing amongst bending pine trees, and a thatched pavilion nestled amidst a wooded mountainous landscape, the stone of intense blue, with white calcite veins, the mountain crags cleverly worked into the natural fissures of the stone, on fitted wood stand, 6 cm at highest point.
