A celadon jade baluster vase and cover, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), of octagonal section, the front and back panels finely incised with a dragon chasing a pearl design and a scrolling cloud motif, with an archaic-style inscription to the other two sides. An incised square seal to the neck at the front, with a further incised circular seal to the back, with a pair of scrolling handles to the body, the celadon stone is translucent with russet tones, 28 cm high.
