A small Chinese nine-peach baluster vase 'Tianqiuping', Caihua Tangzhi hallmark early 19th century, the baluster vase covered by a vibrant rich yellow glaze, and decorated to the surface with nine blushing peaches on blossoming branches in famille-rose enamels, with a four character iron-red overglaze hallmark to the white glazed base. Catalogue note: the auspicious peach is a popular symbol of longevity. The peach design has been one of the most favoured designs in Chinese Art.
