An Edwardian mahogany and cedar davenport. Early 20th century, in light coloured timbers with a green leather and tooled top, a raised and partitioned rear compartment for inks and pens, a series of four graduated drawers with brass swing handles to one side, matching faux drawers with to the other, simply decorated with inlaid fan style embellishments and patterns in the Sheraton manner and with satinwood and ebony stringing. Height 81 cm. Width 56 cm. Depth 52 cm
