An unusual Art Deco Bretby pottery vase/Candleholder, circa 1920s-30s, pattern 3563, of broad low domed 'Spaceship' form with wheel turned ribs having a small aperture to the centre, and glazed in a semi matte emerald glaze, canary yellow to the interior; can be upturned with the unglazed base serving as a candleholder upon a stepped section to a well; incised Bretby with pattern number underside. Height 5.5 cm. Diameter 18.5 cm
