A Victorian embossed sterling silver Christening mug. Sheffield 1847, with maker's mark for Howard and Hawkesworth, the straight sided mug with a scroll handle, richly embossed and chased with floral, leaf and shell forms in the rococo manner with initials to one small cartouche and a date of 17th January1858 to others, gilt washed to the interior & Hallmarked to the rim. Silver weight 148gr height 10 cm
