A Chinese double gourd vase, the well decorated vase in polychrome enamels with auspicious flora and butterflies between moulded lappet and ruyi borders on a red ground, finely decorated throughout with gilt fern like tendrils, the shaped neck with coloured borders and curving handles with enamel colours upon gold, bearing a Qianlong seal mark underside. Height 23.5 cm
