A carved Maori pou post, the upper section carved with a tiki figure, depicted in flexed stance, the head carved with moko and with paua inlaid eyes, the body and limbs carved with deep notch, linial and spiral patterns; three fingered hands clasped to abdomen, the lower section of the post carved with ribbed design and a Koruru mask, again with inlaid paua eyes.
