Sampson O.B.E., E.D., the group includes M.I.D. emblem, 1939-45 Star, Africa Star & 8th Army clasp, Italy Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45, N.Z. War Service Medal, Military O.B.E., named Efficiency Decoration with N.Z. clasp, the group mounted on a bar with correct ribbons, with original box for the O.B.E. (Mily). Note: Sampson was the commanding Officer of the 1st Ammunition Company 2nd N.Z.E.F. from 26 Jan. 1943 to 17 April 1944. Military O.B.E. 5th Jan. 1945, mentioned in dispatches 6th August 1943, Efficiency Decoration 9th April 1954 (Reserve of Officers General List, The Royal N.Z. Army Service Corps.).
