A good heavy gold 'Dent' consular case pocket watch, c.1850 (with case), hallmarked 18ct Chester (rubbed) gold dial with engine turning and Roman numerals, reeded edge. Fusee and chain drive lever movement with bimetallic split compensation balance and diamond end stone. No.25914, 'Watchmaker to the Queen, 35 Cockspur Street'. Weight 110gms. Diameter 52 mm.
