A collection of 15 antique black powder flasks and one bullet mould with south West. Provenance: flasks date late 18th and 19th century, of copper and brass, some with embossed decoration depicting hunting scenes, rococo shells and scrolls and some plain. Various sizes, some with makers marks and patent stamps including: J. Barlow patent; G.S. & J.W. Hawksley, Sheffield; J.W. Hawksley; Sykes patent; Dixons & Sons patent. Together with an antique brass bullet mould flask Lengths 10.2 cm-21 cm. Provenance: These were sourced in the 1970's by a school teacher working in the south West W.A. Including the towns of Woodanilling, Katanning and Wagin. He noticed that these powder flasks were being discarded, thrown away, or even scrapped for their metal value by local farmers and rescued them from their fate
