A Danish Arts & Crafts silver brooch by Kay Bojesen, of rounded oblong shape and open work form modelled with a fish, foliate branches and flowerheads, the fish with cabochon emerald eyes and the four flowerheads similarly set; a moonstone cabochon set to the upper frame. Maker’s and assay marks stamped to the back. Note: Kay Bojesen (1886-1958) was a Danish silversmith who trained under Georg Jensen from 1906-1910. His later modernist work in metals and wood were exhibited in the early 1950s at the Victoria & Albert, London.
