A pair of massive Caverswall fruit decorated lidded classical urns, of campana shape, fully painted and gilded, the bodies and spreading bases with watermelon, apples, pear, blackberry, cherries and other fruits on a leaf and mossy ground, large open gilded handles, spreading circular bases, the wide domed lids with conforming painting including butterflies, ovoid finials, signed both sides by the artist R.H. Shuttlebotham, one dated 1978. Height 50 cm one with minor faults.
