A New Zealand colonial Benhar Pottery salt glazed umbrella stand, the inverted rim with relief grapevine decoration, the body top section with further relief grapevine forms, the lower body of an open worked trellis design, the base with further basket type work and four large acanthus leaf type feet, some chipping, variable salt glaze effects from rich brown to near clear with green highlights.
