A marble topped Louis XV style kingwood commode, circa 1900. The commode of bombe profile having an amber and purple marble serpentine top above two full width oak lined drawers well patterned with fan shaped parquetry, the sides with feather banded reserves, having a shaped apron and hipped edging flowing to gently bowed legs, embellished with foliate bronze mounts and sabots. Height 85 cm. Width 118 cm. Depth 57 cm
