A Carlton Ware 'Devil's Copse' Revo bowl, circa 1933 period, pattern 3817 with design attributed to Violet Elmer. The bowl jewelled with exotic and fantastic blooms beside a twisted tree with pendant tracery and watching eyes in enamel colours and gilt upon a matte mottled aqua ground, enclosed within a bold bubble border; backstamp underside with pattern number. Height 5.5 cm. Width 25 cm. Depth 18.5 cm
