A late Victorian walnut davenport, circa 1900, of fine figuration with simple satinwood and ebony stringing throughout having a tooled green leather writing plane, a shaped and arched pen and inks compartment, and opening to a fitted interior with bird's eye maple drawers, the body with a series of four drawers to one side, faux to the other and raised upon extended trestle bases. Height 87 cm. Width 54 cm. Depth 53 cm
