A fine mahogany and gilt bronze bed in the Louis XVI style, later 19th century, having a simple moulded and scrolled top rail with a cast ribbon decorated crest, the head board with a fielded panel, the conforming end board with a central kidney shaped panel, embellished throughout with finely cast swags, festoons, finials and trims in the restrained neoclassical manner and with associated mattress, bed head height 161 cm.
