A Georgian sterling silver jug in the neoclassical manner, 1813 London, with maker's marks for Alice & George Burrows II, the heavy gauge pedestal jug of broad form with a wide lip, having gadrooned, shell and tongue borders to the collar, a scrolling central frieze above a gadrooned lower section and foot, with a sweeping curved foliate handle; crisply hallmarked underside.
