A large Scottish sterling silver presentation cup, 1832 Glasgow, with maker's mark for John Mitchell, a fine repousse and chased campana form cup with scrolling acanthus and shell forms to the upper body and an overlapping leaf border with flowers to the lower bowl, similarly embellished to the spreading foot, bearing an 1833 inscription to the Reverend Adam Cairns, Minister of Maner; hallmarked to the rim. Silver weight 790gr height 24 cm
