A set of four clobbered Chinese Dutch plates, possibly mid Qing Dynasty, late 18th century, the naively decorated plates, Chinese decorated in underglaze blue and each depicting a harlequin type dancing character to the centre bordered by concentric blue lines and freely decorated borders, later enamel decorated with green, iron red and yellow colours, with faux script; one plate with old repair. Height 4.5 cm. Diameter 27 cm
