An unusual Ansonia cabinet clock, circa 1880s, the oak cased clock of plinth form having a cast brass dial with enamel numeral plaques flanked by caryatids supporting an extended cornice and a large decoratively cast bell, the extended base with cast brass feet; embellished throughout with pierced metal work; maker's mark and patent for 1882 to mechanism.
