A 20th century ornate wood carved Wahaika (hand club) Rotorua, the blade all-over carved combining the rauponga and whakarare style and dark stained as is the backbone of the mania figure to the inturn, and the butt knob carved with a manaia's head, paua shell eyes inlay, circa 1960s. Length 41.6 cm.
