A Maori Carved Sculptured Square Sectioned Large Plinth the central figure carved in a head stance, the long protruding tongue wrapped about its body one hand supporting the head the other resting on the stomach, paua shell inset eyes, the legs surmounted by a plain carved horizontal panel the figure integrally carved above a plain carved rectangular base.
