A good contact period Taiaha mid brown polished wood, black specks throughout the blade, the head decorated with Pataki and H'h', evidence of red sealing wax in eyes, only one paua inset remains. Flax and raupo filled early settlers' cloth grip attached to top of blade with rolled muka cordage, also remnants of kuri dog hair. Length 164 cm.
