A Maori stone toki adze duff type 2b, shaped from dark green mottled sedimentary stone, an unusual choice of raw material, the bevel with an unusual double angle, all surfaces polished. Note; some flake scars on sides. Found in Southland during the 1950s. Length 11.5 cm. Width 3.3 cm. Depth 1.7 cm.
