A Maori argellite toki adze the dark grey/black surfaces heavily flaked with small areas of polish, patch of original patina on the front of the poll. duff type 2A. Note; chip from R/H corner of bevel. Found in Southland during the 1950s. Length 11.4 cm. Width 4.2 cm. Depth 2 cm.
