A Chinese hanging scroll painting of prunus by Qian Juntao (1907-1998), 1978, ink and colour on paper, inscribed and signed, one seal of the artist@. 91 x 45 cm. Provenance: Famous Shanghai Rong family collection. This painting was dedicated to Rong Lisheng the grandfather of the current collector. Rong Lisheng was the uncle of the former vice-president of PRC. Rong Yiren (1619-1998) (Rong Yiren is also known as the 'The Red Capitalist' in China).
