A rare large celadon jade seated tiger, Yuan Dynasty, 14th century, the animal with head turned and mouth open in a snarl, the stone with a soft even polish and some russet inclusions, cloudy veining and some slight oxidization, the body with finely worked flame motifs. 4.4 cm high; 8.6 cm long.
