A large Chinese famille rose gilt decorated vase with two large oval reserve panels of birds amongst prunus and peonies, set on a coral-gilt ground, the neck with scrolling Indian lotus design set on a yellow ground, gilt 'Taotie' loop handles to either side, turquoise glaze to the interior and underneath the foot of the vase, apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark to base
