Convict Pardon: A convict pardon on vellum for Michael Gorman, sentenced to 14 years transportation in March 1820. 'For his service in the capture of a Notorious Bushranger named John Donohoe, Conformable to the Conditions held out by Government Notice' & signed by the Governor Richard Bourke. Notably, the John Donohoe referred to is better known in Australian history and folklore as 'The Wild Colonial Boy'. The document is accompanied by a large part of the original Great Seal of New South Wales and various research material.
