A fine Victorian Sheffield plate ostrich egg centrepiece, circa 1850-60s Sheffield, with maker's mark for Edwin Howard & Son, a cast arched and floral decorated frame suspending two ostrich eggs relief carved with Australian fauna, upon an elongated purple velvet covered timber base with small cast figurines, an emu, a pair of swans and a kangaroo; marked to the centre.
