A limed sideboard by O.Noel Coulson (1905-1993), circa 1958, manufactured by S. Andrewartha, furniture manufacturer, Richmond, the cabinet of sweeping concave form with a series of shallow fitted cutlery drawers above panelled doors, raised upon stylish Egyptian revival shaped legs with brass ball feet, trimmed with brass inlay and hardware in the conforming Egyptian manner. Provenance: commissioned for the Lipshut house, Toorak, Melbourne. Height 86.5 cm. Width 424 cm. Depth 160 cm
