A Chinese red lacquer cabinet, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, a two part cabinet, the upper section with two internal drawers and a pair of cupboard doors united by a traditional brass butterfly door lock and decorated in black and gilded with figures, insects and flora, three drawers below and a cupboard similarly decorated, and raised on small square form legs; the interior refurbished to accommodate electronic equipment.
