A Chinese Niren figurine and a compass, people's Republic era, second half 20th century, the seated niren or mudman figure with exposed clay face and hands, thickly glazed to the body; and a compass in cast patinated brass with bats and bamboo decoration, a border to the interior with fantastic creatures in relief enclosing a circular plate with various markings.
