Meissen 18th 19th century purple ground cup & saucer of quatrefoil form, painted with reserves of merchants loading a ship within plain gilded borders & on a brilliant lilac ground, crossed swords & an impressed '2' on the base of the cup. Ex Josef Neumann collection condition good, minor age related wear to the base. Length of saucer 13.4 cm
