A hardwood couch bed Luohanchuang, late 19th/20th century of typical construction with well grained single back and side panels with shaped corners, the moulded frame with mitred corners enclosing the rectangular seat, a recessed waist supported on four massive square-section C-curved legs terminating in hoof feet, the wood of rich colour resembling huanghali 72 cm high, 206 cm wide, 108 cm deep.
