A Satsuma vase Meiji period, circa 1860s-80, Shimazu family crest, mark of possibly Tomozan, the hexagonal straight sided vase with a waisted neck and a small foot, decorated in raised enamels in iron red, mint green, gosu blue and gold with flowers, autumn leaves, bamboo and fans, with a patterned collar and a gold chevron border to the neck; painted marks underside.
