A gilt bronze figure of Amitayus, Tibet, 16th to 17th century seated on lotus throne with his hands cradling the kalasa in his lap, adorned with jewellery and large earrings inlaid with turquoise, the forehead centred by an urna, crowned with a tiara, the base, probably later, incised with a double-varja mark, loose, revealing original fillings of scrolled prayers, 20.5 cm high.
