A rare pair of quality Chinese Huanghuali display cabinets, each of two sections and four shelves, the bottom two each with two half width frieze drawers, carved bracket supports to the shelves, the main supports of concave square section, burnished brass drop handles. Good dark rich colour and patina, each requiring minor attention. 91 cm x 40 cm x 165.6 cm. Provenance: From the private collection of a retired German banker formerly working in Asia, now retired in New Zealand. Purchased in Singapore C1990 from ' Singapore Arts and Crafts', copy of purchase receipt available
