A Chinese painted pottery model of a horse, early Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD). The dark horse free-standing, with detachable saddle, decorated by an incised design, the gentle face of the horse, framed by a lovely black mane, with knotted tail, 46 cm high, (chip to body and feet consistent with age) the result of Oxford Authentication Ltd thermoluminescence test no C112d97 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
