An Indian Rajasthan sandstone torso of a celestial goddess, 12/13th century. The well-carved 'Devata' Hindu deity, richly adorned and standing in the suggestive 'Tribangha' pose, as the personification of enchanting beauty, with three-tiered headdress, her small waist encircled with beaded 'Ul' festoons, on a rod and pedestal base, 68 cm high (arms missing).
