A Chinese Doucai-enamelled bowl, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Daoguang seal mark and of the period, (1821-1850). The deep bowl finely potted with flared sides supported on a straight foot painted in bright enamels with an underglaze blue outline, the body covered with stylised flowerheads, surrounded by an interlinking floriate design of vines, above a lappet band of 'Ruyi' heads, framed by double line borders, the base with a six-character Daoguang seal mark, 14.9 cm diameter.
