A Chinese painted pottery figure of a Prancing horse, Tang Dynasty (618-906). The bridled figure, with mane swept to one side, leaning back on three legs, with the front right foreleg raised, the decorated saddle covered with a cloth, (traces of red and black pigment), 50 cm length, with fitted wooden plinth.
