A Chinese carved wooden figure of a seated Bodhisattva, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). With one arm resting over the raised knee, adorned with an elaborate headdress, and corn-bead necklaces, the hair arranged in a high top knot with loose tresses falling over the shoulders, 146 cm high.
